Parmesan Garlic Bread

Ingredients
  • 1 loaf artisan bread such as ciabatta or a baguette
  • ½ stick soft butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely minced
  • ½ teaspoon dried oregano
  • ½ teaspoon dried basil
  • 1 cup shredded parmesan cheese
Preparation Instructions
  1. Take your loaf and slice it in half lengthwise, like a sandwich.
  2. In a small bowl, mix together the soft butter, garlic, oregano and basil. Then spread the mixture all over the cut side of both halves of the bread.
  3. Sprinkle parmesan all over and place the bread on a baking sheet.
  4. I had my grill fired up so I just put mine on there until the cheese melted but if you want to go the oven route, bake at 400˚ for about 7-8 minutes, just until the cheese melts.
