{DIY} Cream of Soup Powder

Serves: makes about 1 quart powder
 
Ingredients
  • 2 cups non-fat dried milk powder
  • 1½ cups cornstarch
  • ½ cup chicken, beef, or vegetable bouillon
  • ½ cup dried minced onions
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 2 teaspoons dried thyme
  • 1 teaspoon dried parsley
  • 1 to 1½ teapoons black pepper
Preparation Instructions
  1. Find yourself a large jar or container (I used a half gallon mason jar) to store it in and combine all the ingredients in the container.
  2. To use the mix in place of one can of soup, place ⅓ cup of the powder mix and 1¼ cups cold water in a medium saucepan over medium heat.
  3. Cook and whisk until thick and bubbly, about 2-3 minutes.
  4. You can add additional ingredients if you like, mushrooms, a bit of chopped chicken, some fresh herbs. The world is your oyster ;)
